Five All Time Favorite Children's Costumes

At Halloween parties, it is natural to see a lot of people wearing different types of costumes. Adults who attend these parties especially the women tend to don on sexy costumes and sometimes these parties tend to be rather wild. We must not forget though that Halloween is not for adults alone.

Children enjoy Halloween too simply because they can get to knock on doors and ask for a candy which is otherwise known as Trick or Treat. To complete the Halloween look, children don on costumes too and here are some of the children's favorite Halloween costumes.

1. Superhero Costumes. Little boys adore this type of costume. Often times, we see them wearing Superman costumes, Spiderman costumes and of course Batman costumes.

These types of costumes attract little boys. Little tykes tend to idolize superheroes probably because they have super powers, can do things no one can and of course, they save the innocent. Their desire to become a superhero is gratified by being able to wear a particular superhero costume and to be able to pretend that they are Superman, Spiderman or Batman.

2. Princess Costumes. A little girl will always be a little girl and often times, we consider a little girl a princess. Most of these young girls grew up in a household where everyone treats them like a princess, thus when you ask them about Halloween costumes they would immediately answer you “I am going to be a Princess on Halloween.” And in addition to that line is a big smile painted on their faces.

Little girls tend to be really feminine and for them the best example for femininity or for being a girl is a lovely princess. Cartoon characters like Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Snow White also fuel a little girl's desire to become a princess even for just one night.

3. Fairy Costumes. If boys love superheroes because they have powers little girls love fairies because they have powers too. The tutu skirt and butterfly wings that most fairies wear are quite attractive to little girls who love to pretend that they can fly and do some magic. Fantasy has always fascinated children. Indeed, little girls in fairy costumes are cute to look at.

4. Cowboy Costumes. Little boys love animals and one of their favorite animals is a horse. You must've noticed how boys who love to play horse tend to pick a cowboy costume on Halloween. Why? Because cowboys are around horses most of the time. In addition, cowboys get to ride horses and little boys would want to do this. That is why they love to pretend that they are real cowboys riding on horses.

5. Scary Costumes. Some children would want to scare others that is why they pick scary costumes. Scary costumes can be in the form of a witch costume, Frankenstein costume or a dead girl's costume. These costumes intend to elicit some screams from other children but no offense should be taken because it is only for fun.
